About our speaker:

Ivan Burgener serves as a Bible Conference Speaker and as pastor of Affton Grace Bible Church in St. Louis, Missouri. He also serves on the boards of several other Christian ministries, and recently retired as President of the Missouri Association for Creation Board of Directors.

Burgener retired in 1993 from a career of chemical engineering practiced since 1955 at several local chemical manufacturers and nation-wide offering consulting services to the chemical industry. He holds one patent and has published a paper in 1978 on regulatory compliance of emissions from a coal-gas scrubber handling Illinois high-sulphur coal.

Mr. Burgener received his BS from the University of Illinois in 1955 and his professional engineering license in 1962. Since retiring from Sigma Chemical Company in 1993, he has been inactive concerning engineering pursuits and has concentrated his efforts teaching about creation and the Bible. He has authored numerous short articles for Christian publications and has written “God’s Word for Today,” a book which presents the inspiration, preservation, and translations of the Bible.
